Takei, Larson, & Brown to be Honored Oct. 21

“Obedience to law, respect for others, joy in services, and mastery of self” encompass a Roman. 

George Takei, Milt Larson, and Gerry Brown will be awarded the Roman Spirit Award for their achievements and demonstrating the qualities of a true Roman on October 21, 2017.

 

George Takei graduated from LAHS in 1956 and is best known for his portrayal of Mr. Sulu in Star Trek. He is also a social justice activist and social media mega-power.

 

 

Milt Larson graduated from LAHS in 1949 and is best known for his role as Founder and President of the Magic Castle. He also writes, produces, and performs.

 

 

Gerry Brown graduated from LAHS in 1976 is best known as a recording engineer and producer. He is credited on over 47 Platinum and Gold records and worked with many mega-stars.
