Doctor Travis D. Brandy is the new principal of Los Angeles High School. He is originally from San Diego and earned a doctoral degree from Pepperdine University. Previously he was an assistant principal at Hollywood High School and later a principal at The Incubator School in Playa Del Rey.
Brandy joins LA High at a perfect time during its renaissance as the school celebrates its 100th anniversary on Olympic and Rimpau this October. As the new principal, Brandy is committed to creating a learning environment that reflects innovation and technology.
In an interview to the Larchmont Chronicle he states “My goal is to rebrand and promote a more positive image of Los Angeles High School and highlight our community partnerships.” He then adds “We have some great programs for students and I am intent on bringing more.” With Brandy’s dedication and hard work there is no doubt that Los Angeles High School will prosper.
We welcome our new principal to the Roman Family and look forward to building a brighter future together!
